Currently, numerous crevasses have formed in the Hakuba Daisekkei, posing a risk of collapse. Therefore, the area will be closed to traffic until the route is secured. The details are as follows:

Closure Period: From Thursday, July 4, 2024, until the route is secured.

Closed Section: From Hakuba Daisekkei Cairn to Ohana Batake

Please use the Hakuba Yari Onsen Route or the Tsugaike Route to reach the summit of Mount Hakuba.

Hakuba Yari Onsen Hut is scheduled to open on Saturday, July 13.
