Even in the rental cycle, the route is flat and has many attractions. Start the Sakasaka Tourism Association, stop at Road Station Hakuba, and drive along a straight road in the field. The wide road feels good. After passing through Shinmeigu and the Olympic Memorial Stone Sculpture Park, we arrived at Himekawa Headwaters Nature Exploration Park. Let’s take a walk in a quiet and beautiful space that you can’t imagine beside a national highway. The park is in good condition so it is easy to walk. After enjoying the walk, return to the goal of the Sakasaka Tourist Association.
It is unknown when Shinmeisha was enshrined here, but it seems to have existed at least in the early Kamakura period. It enshrines “Amaterasu Omikami”, the highest god in Japan.
